SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH December 9, 2006 – With grace and solemnity, Wasatch Lodge #1 Free & Accepted Masons of Utah, installed Marvin “Bronc” Morton as Worshipful Master for ensuing Masonic Year, 6007 A. L. last night at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple. Residents of Salt Lake City, distinguished guests, members of the Masonic Order, and family were in attendance to observe the 300 year old ceremonies of Freemasonry.

According to Masonic Tradition, the supreme executive power of the Masonic Lodge was transferred to Worshipful Brother Morton, who will lead Wasatch Lodge for its 141st year.

The Installation of Officers is one of the oldest traditions of Freemasonry, and one of the few open to the public.
