The Doors Open October 26th
Three Distinct Knocks
To open the door of the Freemasonry one must give three distinct knocks. At 6:00pm, Friday October 26, 2007 Wasatch Lodge #1 Free & Accepted Masons, will break with tradition, and open their doors to public providing unrestricted tours of the Salt Lake Masonic Temple, presentations on Freemasonry, Wasatch Lodge #1 and the relationship of Salt Lake City with Freemasonry.
The Open House
Thank you for your interest in Freemasonry. For several years now Wasatch Lodge #1 F&AM has held an annual Open House for the purpose of introducing the community to Freemasonry in a casual environment. The Open House is not a recruitment drive (Freemasons are expressly prohibited from recruitment), rather it is an opportunity for the community to understand Freemasonry, tour the historial Salt Lake Masonic Temple, and learn about this great tradition.
Freemasonry
Freemasonry is many things to many people; a brotherhood, a way of life, a philosophy, a charitable or philanthropic center. It is all these things and more. Freemasonry, is a system of instruction by which Freemasons are taught to build themselves as upright men, build their destinies, and build their world.
Guidelines
Relax, enjoy yourselves, and feel free to ask any question. Regretfully there are no facilities for children; we request that any child under 13 not attend.
